Keyboard shortcuts

Appeggio has built in several keyboard shortcuts to help you design and edit your app quicker. You will get to learn what these are by seeing the shortcut key in parentheses at the end of any description. For example, hovering over the ‘+’ will reveal the shortcut associated with the function, which in this case is ‘A’ for adding a part:

Key

Delete an item

Select the part you want to delete and press the delete key

Duplicate an item

Select the part you want to duplicate and press Command (Mac) or Control (Windows) with the D key - Cmd-D or Ctrl-D

Cut an item

Select the part you want to cut and press Command (Mac) or Control (Windows) with the X key - Cmd-X or Ctrl-X

Copy an item

Select the part you want to copy and press Command (Mac) or Control (Windows) with the C key - Cmd-C or Ctrl-C

Paste an item

Place the cursor where you want to paste the item and press Command (Mac) or Control (Windows) with the V key - Cmd-V or Ctrl-V

Add an item

Place the cursor where you want to add an item and press A

Navigate parts on the screen

Press N to bring up the navigation in the left navigation drawer

Change

Select a part you want to change, edit or format and press C

Assets

Press F to bring up the assets, for example images, in the left navigation drawer

Texts and languages

Press T to bring up texts and languages in the left navigation drawer

Bind to data

Select a part you want to bind and press B

Screens

Press S to bring up the screens in the left navigation drawer

Help

Press H to bring up the Help
